Danielle decided to mix things up and train for a triathlon. And as they say the rest is history! Danielle has a BS in Community Health
from the University of California, Davis and a Nursing degree from Samuel Merritt College in Oakland. She currently works at UC San
Francisco as a Registered Nurse specializing in oncology research . When not cycling, running or swimming, Danielle can be found playing

Garth joins Velo Collective after coaching group cycling classes first in Davis and most recently at a prominent fitness club here in San Francisco. A native Californian, Garth grew-up in Vallejo where he was a successful age-group and high school swimmer. Upon leaving California for Cambridge, MA, Garth continued his aquatic athletic theme as a member of the Harvard Crew Team, on which he rowed for four years.
In his spare time he studied for his degree in English and American Literature and Language. In his quest for increasingly inclement winter-weather, Garth continued rowing at Oxford University, where he was a member of the "Blue Boat" in Oxford's annual race against Cambridge. Garth returned to California to attend law school at the University of California, Davis. It was there that he first took up cycling and triathlon. Garth has competed in numerous Half-Ironman distance races, with top-10 age-group finishes at Wildflower and Half-Vineman. He has also competed in two Ironmans -- the inaugural Ironman California and Ironman Canada -- where his sole distinction is having made it onto the television broadcast in each race for being immediately ahead of the eventual winner upon exiting the water.
Garth moved to the Bay Area three years ago, and now focuses largely on training and racing for cycling.
When not training he works as an intellectual property and commercial litigator here in San Francisco,
and spends his time with his wife, two boys aged 6 and 3, and two recently-rescued pit bulls.
